I'm going for the once a month blog post traffic.
Remember when you were young
and time was measured in
"holidays you got candy"
The year revolved around sugar and sleeping in,
free time, for me a pile of new books,
and a bag of goodies.
Then you have kids of your own, a home
and well RESPONSIBILITIES.
It's seasons that bring calculated purchases -
- Pumpkins in July
- new clothes in August
- Christmas in September
- OMG I forgot to buy a turkey
- It's the week before Christmas - I can still do this!
- Thank God the holidays are over
- Valentines Day?
- IT'S FLU SEASON
- Easter - Is it early or late this year?
WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S NEXT WEEK?
- Spring Break - unless you had 18 feet of snow
- End of school
- Bulk purchase of vodka
- Summer vacation
- The Crying Months
...and back to
- WHY ARE PUMPKINS OUT IN JULY???
This year Spring ...well Spring hasn't really
come to the Northeast yet.
( this is hilarious and some what horrifying at the same time)
We had a day or two of thawing and melting.
It was just warm enough for me to think,
"Time to get the poop out of the yard."
You have to walk that fine line between
*it's frozen to the ground* and
*it's a mushy blob*.
No bag of candy there.
The fun things I look foward to?
How about a
Spring Fever Jewelry Challenge?
Brought to you by the lovely
My goodies are reaking of Spring!
So April 16th you know
there will definately be another post!
It was 16 when I woke up this morning.
Did you get Spring yet?
Tell me about it so I can fantasize.
