Being stuck inside the house seems to make
most of us a little crazy...maybe a lot crazy.
When my husband woke me up the other
morning I was like Shakespeare crazy - yeah it's a thing.
Long winter - too much snow -
he woke me up and I thought,
"To sleep, perchance to dream."
But no ......no sleep, shovels, wet coats, wet floors
and dogs stuck inside barking at chairs.
It was like.....
Romeo & Juliet, Act 2 Scene 2
But crap, no light through yonder window breaks
It is the east, and there is no sun
Downfall, evil flakes, and blanket thy yard
Who is already cold and pale with snow
That thou whitest devil have bespoken thy place
Her maid is cold and white with insanity
Her blanket is frozen cast off by plows and shovels
It is my downfall! It is my dread!
Oh and how it knows!
It speaks but says nothing and piles by the side of the road
It's ice discourses, my coach answers with a swerve....
Am I too bold - the road hath no salt
....Well you get the idea.
The mind wanders in all this white stuff
that never stops coming.
I've been trying to create but between all the snow days -
I can't remember the last time the kids had a full week-
shoveling, remodeling and general snow management
not much is getting done.
Do you find yourself more inspired in warm weather
It's definately warm for me Spring or Fall -
I'll take either!
Off to talk to myself in Shakespearean English...
Here's a few tips if your snowed in and need some
Fare thee well and may by Google we meet again! : )
