My home show got delayed so
I have extra time to fiddle with my displays!
Since I have Display Deficit Disorder (DDD)
I have had time this week to fidget
with some stuff.
On the table I have what used to be
a blue and white bulletin board.
(ACK!!! here they are on the wall
in an old picture of my studio)
I have 3 of them and reupholstered
and repainted them so they would be
more neutral so the jewelry would shine.
I also like to use a small picture/plate
holder at the back to prop it up at a nice angle.
I have 3 of these boards and am always looking how to use
things in different ways.
Since many times when you do a show
you don't know where you are going to display -
especially in someones house -
it's nice to have different options
immediately available.
I took some small piano hinges and
attached them to the back of my frames.
I tied two of my picture holders together.
It adds a little height and a little decoration
and stops the frames from sliding.
I could have just tied the frames together too
but I like the little rose detail.
I can also in a hurry ( like at a WINDY show)
flatten this out and have a great looking table display!
This would also look great as an at home jewelry display!
Happy Saturday!!!
I hope it finds you safe and warm : )
Patty

Hmmm - might be stealing some of those ideas Patti - pretty classy displays you have there!

This is lovely! I'm sure I do not know what you are talking about DDD! You have a great sense of presentation that invites people in for a more intimate look. I like it all and I hope you do well!

I love seeing your ideas! I was at our Marshalls (I think like your Home Goods Store) the other day and I found a framed bullentin board that came with some very cute vintage bee pins for $16.99. The board is 15x15 so a good size for hanging necklaces! I need to get a little more crafty like you, but in the meantime it worked! :)

Great displays! I love the picture holder idea. We did a couple of shows last year where we had earrings spinning off the table and all our displays were falling over. Hubby is currently working on a fold out display which hopefully will stand up better on a windy day. Love your DDD Lol :)

Thanks for sharing your display ideas! I'm working on getting into a 3 day show this summer and I seriously need to get my displays squared away, especially for earrings.

Wow Patty, I love your display ideas so neat I'm going to have to do something similar to what you did. I hope you make lots of sales when you do have your show.
