Love's Letter Lost
When someone contacts you and tells you they made something that reminded them of you and would you like to make something out of it - and that person is the most lovely Molly Alexander - you get pretty excited!
Well the colors are certainly me!
When I saw the insert was vintage style postage I thought of a love letter that perhaps had not made it all the way to it's destination. Maybe it had fallen out of an anxious pocket or landed in some grass or flowers. I embellished Molly's focal with a brass flower and bird.
I also wanted to carry the flower theme up into the necklace and grabbed a cherry quartz rose and some amazonite.
The silk was on my table and matched perfectly.
