We've been a bit preoccupied!
You may or may not know that we
had a Boston Terrier for 15 years.
He passed away 3 years ago
and really there has been a void
in the house since.
Well until last Sunday
when I spied this sweet girl on a rescue site!
She is a 7-8 month old
Boston Terrier/ French Bull Dog mix.
That face had me at a glance and
I showed her to my husband
who immediately said to put in an application!
We when through a few phone calls and a home visit
and thanks to MANY volunteers who give of their
own time to transport these dogs
She arrived on Saturday and made herself right at home!
OMG!!! She sits up and falls asleep
watching TV!!! lol
She has fit right in and I get to dress her in PINK!!!
( Wait until you see her TUTU!!!)
She has the loveliest personality
and hasn't been more then
3 feet away from me all weekend.
Guess where she is right now???
Snuggled up right behind me in her "bassinet".
If you are looking for a new four legged friend
please check out a rescue!
I went through
and found them through
We feel so lucky to be able to
offer this little one a home -
and she seems very grateful to be here!
Have a Fantastic Monday!!!
Woof! Patty
P.S. I forgot to add her name! It's Tessa!

She is so cute! Love the sweater and I love how she falls asleep sitting up like a human ;-)
Keep the photos coming, I especially want to see the one in the tutu!!!
Have a great week with the new fur baby!!!

So cute! We have a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix and although he was a devil to house train, I wouldn't trade him and all of his quirks for the world! Enjoy your new baby!!

She is adorable!! Lovely picture of her curled up in her basket. I love dogs, we have a chocolate lab, but I would love a smaller pup to snuggle with!!

We adopted a rescue pooch and had her for 16 wonderful years. I loved every minute of it, and still miss her (we lost her 2 years ago to cancer). What an amazing thing to do to give one of these guys a great home. Congrats!

Congratulations on your newest addition and kudos to you for adopting! These animals really need loving homes. Love the sleeping photos and the pink sweater-so cute. My husband and I adopted a dog that was rescued at nine months old. She brings more joy to our lives than we ever imagined! I wrote a post on Christmas Eve about her and her history. http://modernnaturestudio.blogspot.com/2011/12/best-gift-everour-dog-twila.html

I love that bunny ears are being held up behind her while she sleeps. And even though you have dressed her in pink, is it wrong of me to want to call her Yoda?
