Holy S*&$ you are amazing. My husband would never have let me do that. *bowing* you are my spray painting hero.

You redo for the holidays??? I put up the Christmas tree and the decorations but anything more ambitious than that is just that...too ambitious.

I secretly would love to fall into a few thousand bucks to decorate my house. Hmmm...*runs off to buy scratch off ticket*

Um yeah, would you like to come re-do my house?

I had to do a double take, same furniture. That dining table looks completely different.

*sigh* wish I could do that....

i want to live in your house sister wife!
Beeeeaaaaauuuutiful, I love the couches as is!

You are the spray painting queen!! Lol...on the sofas, now that I'd like to see.

You can sew slipcovers pretty cheaply with clearance fabric, but they aren't fun...I've done it before and only once! The ready-made ones aren't too bad and once you put pillows etc..I think they look fine.

I always re-do a couple things around this time of year. I think I know that my house is going to be on display...everyone comes here for Thanksgiving so I always feel like sprucing up. This year it was wallpaper! ;-) Pictures to come soon on the blog.

ps...don't forget to come enter my giveaway!

Oh My Goodness, you crazy spray paint lady (He! He!)

It is obvious to me that you need more children you have way to much time and spray paint on your hands LOL!!!!! :)

You are making the rest of us look like slackers, seriously, this is so cool, beautifully done and your Hubby must be a saint, I take back what I said the other day. I think my Hubby would completely flip out.

I even considered NOT putting the Christmas tree up this year, that is how much decorating I do (He! He!)

But I am planning a menu for the 3 weeks they are all home :)

Have a lovely weekend and if I see pictures of your family spray painted next week, I won't be surprised LOL!!! :)

Cheers, T. :)

I'm sorry the first redo didn't work out for you. You'll have to save that for after the kids leave home! I have nothing on cheap slip cover ideas as I'm looking for the same thing! It's one of those things I really don't want to sew. Have a good weekend! XO

Patty, You do wonders with a can of spray paint, you go Girl!
Therese

Good golly!!! That's gorgeous! You are truly gifted. And this is your lucky day because I have your slipcover solution...er...a bit conceited, right?

Once I needed slipcovers and couldn't afford them. I went to Lowes (or Home Depot) and got several packages of painters floor canvas. I prewashed them and they worked beautifully - washable, too. I'm certain that I spent much less than $100

Again, you're brilliant.

Wow! I wish my house looked this gorgeous!
I put up a tree and decorate the fireplace mantle - too bushed after that.

Your home is stunning! every way!
You can redo my home any day.
I consider the seasonal decorations my decorating. I like the yellow furniture!

I dub thee "Princess Patty, of the noble realm SprayPaint"!!

Holy cow girl, you are incredible...spray paint and no power??? I truly think my husband would murder me, and you'd be searching wood chippers for my remains should I be so bold as to spray paint our furniture ;) I admit that when I saw your redo last year, even though I loved the white, I adored the black even more!

oooh,is that 2x satin dark walnut???? do you know I have two cans sitting here waiting for me to redo our coffee and side tables? Mine don't look half that good originally but the mr. is in love with this hideous coffee table because it swivels...gulp....maybe today now that I've seen your redo!

You are one gutsy lady Patty! I'm still trying to muster up the courage to paint my solid wood table and chairs...I just haven't been able to do it. I'm afraid I'll ruin it, and you can't unpaint without stripper. Uggg

I think you did a super job!

Holy Cow, woman! Every transformation is lovely, and it exhausts me just thinking about all the redecorating you are capable of. I like how warm the yellow couches are, maybe you just need to try different accent pillows, like dark brown to tie into the new shelving colors. But I'm a sucker for warm reds and yellows, so don't take me too seriously. :D

LOL! Spray painting the sofas. Hehe.

Excellent work with the paint. Looks amazing!

Oh Patty! Your home is so lovely. I was wondering how you kept things so clean with four boys, I'm now sure the black will help. In either case, your decorating is so beautiful.

Oh My God, PATTY! The redo in the black!! I love it!

Patty your house looks like it's right out of the pages of a magazine! Holy crap, it is so neat and clean and organized and tastefully decorated and I'm jealous! Wanna come do my house? Seriously, i'll buy you a chicken!
