Happy Sunday!
I decided to sit and play with
this morning.
...it's addictive...
I was going to be all technical and write down the
processes I used but
pfffft....
it's too much fun.
I feel like a kid in a candy store.
So many choices it's hard not to
do everything on
every picture lol.
Now they have collage.
I haven't gotten there yet.
Maybe next week.
Have a safe and happy weekend!

Sometimes things are stressful
you know like going out for your late night walk
in the rain?....or when it's dry?
I put on Tessa's leash and go get my shoes.
Tessa fake sleeps - closes her eyes
and everything.
You have to carry her out the door
or nothing is happening!
I sewed a few aprons for a friend
sending them to Haiti.
Honestly I should not sew for humans.
Just no.
Terrible seams, uneven stitching
and I made up the pattern.
I'm a little embarrassed to send them.
I think I have to straighten the pocket....
I like them better without the pocket
but my husband told me they
were "useless" without a pocket.
Actually I think he said, " They are disadvataged and
YOU are going to send them an apron without a pocket?"
I'll be adding pockets today.....
I apologize for them in advance....
Then I have to fix this today.
Just randomly decided to rip itself out of the
holder....or we have a poltergeist.
I did manage to load new things into the
(Had to put something pretty in this post)
and now a three day weekend.
Hopefully we get somethings done around this house!
If your looking for something fun don't
forget to check out my girl at
and her summer jewelry swap!
I'm in!
Happy Friday and keep yourselves safe!

It gray and rainy outside
but I am celebrating the oncoming summer
with a vintage vibe and bright summer colors!
Here are some new goodies I will be loading up to my
Luulla shop
Thinking of bright teal waters....
.....juicy grapes....
...vintage summer cottages...
...and my favorite turquoise with
a little bit of watermelon.
Maybe just a cool easy off white?
What colors remind you of summer?
Have a Happy Tuesday, Patty : )

The second hop of the day is
brought to you by the lovely
I have a few of Kristis gorgeous pieces
and I can tell you the patina on her copper is amazing!
It was an honor to be picked.
I made a copper clasp and dapped
one of Kristi's tiny flower charms.
I love hot pink and copper
so when I was going through my
stash and found these pearls I
knew they would be the perfect fit.
Kristi is always busy creating something new!
You can check out her blog
or more goodies in her shop
Here are all the participants!
What a fun way to spend the weekend!
Happy Saturday! Patty

featuring the gorgeous work of
Nan Emmett
from
I saw the bird and was thrilled to be picked!
I was going to patina this but
really like the bright sunny copper
with the bright colors of the
chosen components.
I also challenged myself to make everything
from the jump rings to the clasp.
I love, love, love, Nan's work!!!
Here are the additional participants
*Patty Gasparino* Me!
You can find out more about Nan's

One of my favorite places to
walk the aisles is
I was lucky enough to spy
two more ladies for display.
Twelve - nine - nine
each!!!
Jewelry displays can be ridiculously high
and sometimes just downright homely!
I love the clearance aisle's because it's
always a treasure hunt -
you never know what you are going to find.
Always getting ready for up coming
outside shows I've been in need of a banner
or something with my name on it.
I'm going to hack that table runner up there.
I like the linen and the bird theme -
the colors are a little off
but I'm pretty sure I can just go over them
and add some lettering.
OR
I could use it as two more hanging displays.
What do you think?
It will save me a lot of sewing
to just cut this in half and sew a
seam for a pocket rod.
Think I'll play with it today
and see where I get.

I jumped at the chance to enter this hop -
Hosted by Cindy Wimmer -
as I have a great love of old buttons.
Due to a nice computer virus I got for
Mothers Day all the pictures I took of
the buttons I sent my partner are gone : (
You can check out the lovely
Linda Djokic to see the buttons I sent.
Here are the lovelies she sent me!
Including some of her lampwork.
I adore old Mother of Pearl so I was thrilled
to get these!
I used one as a focal and added a few
I already had.
Some filigree and wire wrap and a vintage
rosary chain.
I used the next Mother of Pearl as a clasp
for a bracelet.
I added in a few Mother of Pearl
shanks as charms.
And lastly this lovely floral button
also got to be the focus of a bracelet.
This was my most favorite button of all!
Apparently it was so awesome I was completely
frozen about using it!
All I could do is stare.
I would like to incorporate it into a clasp.
I'll wait ( and oogle it)
until the right moment comes along.
It's going with a bird for sure!
Many thanks to my lovely partner
and Cindy Wimmer for setting us up.
Here's the full list of participants
